Early Years

In the Early Years at Lodha Oakwood, we believe that children explore most freely when they feel safe and supported. Creating that sense of comfort and belonging is where learning begins. Our Early Years environments are designed to encourage discovery — warm, stimulating spaces where children learn through play, experimentation and interaction. Every activity invites curiosity. Every experience builds confidence. Our classrooms are thoughtfully designed to reflect the way young children naturally learn — with open, flexible spaces that invite movement, exploration and imagination. And behind every corner of this environment is a team of dedicated educators who know each child by name, by nature and by need, ensuring that the space around them always feels like it belongs to them. By the time children move into Primary School, they carry more than early literacy and numeracy skills. They carry something deeper — the confidence to explore, the curiosity to ask questions, and the belief that learning is something they can actively pursue.

The Sixth Form / A Levels refer to an in-depth and challenging curriculum that prepares students for university entrance or other higher education options.

  • It provides students with a broader, more global perspective through the diverse cultural content students engage with, facilitating an understanding of global interconnectedness.
  • An international curriculum, like the Cambridge Assessment International Curriculum (CAIE), is known for its rigorous academic standards, challenging students to think critically, engage in inquiry-based learning, and develop strong analytical skills.
  • Its transferability and recognition by universities and employers around the globe. This broadens a child’s opportunities, making it easier for students who have studied such curricula to apply to universities in India and around the world as well as enhance their prospects for working in global teams and/or pursuing an international career.
  • It offers flexibility and choice with a variety of subjects and courses to choose from, tailoring a child’s education according to their strengths and career aspirations.

In addition to a rigorous international curriculum, LOS embraces progressive teaching methods, such as experiential learning, project-based learning, collaborative work, and technology integration, the Singapore approach to Math, to enhance students’ critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
